The Effect of Online Learning on Academic Writing Course During Covid-19 Pandemic

Since the outbreak of Covid 19 in Indonesia, all universities, including Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar, had made a decision for lecturers and students to learn from home (LFH) since March 16, 2020. This certainly has an impact on change learning process which is used face-to-face classroom then drastically changed become online learning. study aims at investigating effectiveness Academic Writing course English Education Study Program. Pre-experimental design method where sample purposively chosen. The data collected by giving pre-test post-test questionnaire. reveals that get better writing skills after online. It can be seen pretest 50.6 becomes 75.8 posttest. Meanwhile, calculating t-test it also found Course through Google Meet 55%. concluded using positive effect students' skills.
